I went off this afternoon to pick up the last bit of my costume for tonight's event (after getting the sleeves shortened 2.5", damn my shortness). My company's throwing a bash at the last weekend of the Franklin Institute's Star Wars exhibit. There may be pictures.
So, there I was with my ipod on the trolley, and it played Electric Blue. And then Caribbean Blue, and then Behind Blue Eyes. It tickled my fancy to think that when it broke that pattern, it'd be with The Scarlet Thing In You, but that wasn't what was next. It was Orange Crush. Knock it off, Banshee.

Whenever I order food and the order-taker asks for my name, I give them my last name, because going by Steanne means having to spell it out every damned time. There's a local place that is determined that I'm going to give them a given name, and so they enter the given name that sounds most like my last name. Nicole. I've decided I need a food-ordering name, because if I'm not gonna get to use my own, I'm damned well gonna be the one to pick it. I'm thinking Anastasia.

Wednesday, I had a fever and was very achey. Thursday, they'd started to fade, but I developed the mother of all sinus headaches (still going strong). Within the last few hours, I've apparently reached a tipping point for recovering from achey: every joint in my body wants to crack. This is gonna take a while.
